Please find the crime report for May below for Heathfield.

Burglary

21/05/26 – 25/05/26 – Harvey Road – Victim reporting kitchen utensils stolen from their room within a HMO

25/05/26-28/05/26 – Harvey Road – Victim reported cash stolen from their room within a HMO

26/05/26 – 29/05/26 – Carisbrooke Close- Victim reporting interference with their back door, tool marks found on the door.

29/05/26 – 02/06/26 – Strathearn Avenue – Glass on rear door smashed and entry believed to of occurred by unlocking the door with the key that was left in the door. Unknown what/if anything has been stolen

Theft of motor vehicle

08/05/26 – Lyndhurst Avenue – Nissan stolen, victim still in possession of the key, believed keyless theft.

10/05/26 – Ellerman Avenue – Hyundai stolen from the victims driveway. Vehicle had a tracker and was located by police on Cross Deep Gardens, Twickenham. The vehicle was recovered to the victim.

25/05/26 – Hospital Bridge Road – Victim had left bike at location after it had run out of petrol, upon return it had been stolen.

Theft from motor vehicle

26/05/26 – Chester Avenue – Suspect has entered an unlocked  vehicle and taken a purse with cash inside.

30/05/26 – Edgar Road – Vehicle entered, no damage reported, camera bag and a PS5 stolen.

31/05/26 – Cobbett Road – Victims vehicle prised open, implement used was left in the vehicle. Cash stolen from the centre console

Ensure you do not leave keys in locked doors over night or whilst out of your property, as that is an inviting way into your property for opportunist burglars!

If you own a keyless vehicle keep your keys away from the front of the house and secured in a signal blocking pouch or box!
