Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT
Dear Members Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.
What’s Been Happening . Burglaries Guess what? Once again NONE 😊😊
. Vehicle Crime Unfortunately, three reported this week ☹ These happened on Duncroft Ave, Norman Place Road and Scots lane. Good news though, male arrested for one of the offences.
It’s time to get summer-ready and secure your home, vehicles, and valuables – double checking your windows and doors are locked is key. Never leave your car unattended, running with the AC on, and valuables on show. Over the summer, you will see more officers out in our towns and cities, but there are also ways you can help keep your community safe. Your CCTV helps us solve real crimes. We are urging local businesses, residents, and community groups to sign up to our CCTV registry online: CCTV Registry | West Midlands Police. It only takes five minutes and can help us bring more opportunistic burglars and thieves to justice. You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com
. In other News Good Result this week. One male arrested and charged with 11 offences including robbery of business, shoplifting x 3, Crim damage, fraud x three and FTA. So not much!!! Charged and issued with a CBO ( Criminal Behaviour Order) which had to be obtained from the courts. Another female arrested for shoplifting and is being dealt with appropriately. Another person arrested for a Racially Aggravated Harassment. We also had to help with the cordon at the old war bomb scene. A large cordon was put in place due to the size of the bomb. Many houses evacuated for people’s safety. Pleased to say the bomb was safely detonated and people allowed to return to their homes.
Reminder Put the Date in your Diaries…….. the next Bablake Police and Community Meeting will be held at Allesley Village Hall at 7pm on 6th August. Please come along and have a chat with your local team. If you have any questions or have any issues you want to make us aware off, this is the perfect opportunity to let us know face to face.
Until next week Stay safe everyone.
