Drive responsibly to keep Sandwell streets safe |

|
Good afternoon Resident,
Following a spate of serious and fatal collisions in Sandwell this month, we are using this opportunity to remind residents of the dangers of speeding and our word .
We are asking our communities to stop and think about their actions, and to help us spread awareness of the harm caused by dangerous driving.
On average each year 2,815 people are killed or seriously injured due to speeding, don’t be a part of the problem.
Speeding is a criminal offence that can have a life-changing impact on victims, perpetrators and everyone around them.
In the summer months we sadly see an increase in the fatal four offences being committed. These include: speeding, drink or drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt and using a mobile phone while driving.
Our dedicated 24/7 Traffic cops, the Road Harm Prevention Team are patrolling our road network to keeping our communities safe. Watch them in action on our YouTube channel here - The Fatal 4: Four motorists who put themselves and others at risk - YouTube
