Dear Resident
You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Queens Road, Manningham. The offence took place between 5:00pm on Thursday 4th June and midnight on Friday 5th June. The occupants were away at an event during this time. Unknown suspects forced entry by snapping the cylinder lock on the rear door and conducted an untidy search of the property. Items stolen include: Suspects left the property via the front door, which was left unlocked, and made off by unknown means.
Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between The above times to check if you had any activations.
Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.
Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police. Should you have any information about either burglary please contact us on 101. Thanks
