Bike Register

We have been registering bikes in association with BikeRegister.  There is a designated BikeRegister Officer at your local Station.

We provide the following bike security tips in addition to registering your bike.

Use good quality “Secure by Design” locks. Locks should be 10% of the value of the bike being protected.

Don’t leave your bike in isolated places.

Always lock your bike when leaving it, even if it’s only for a few minutes.  Secure your bike to proper stands or robust street furniture.

Lock your bike through the frame, not the wheels.  Secure or remove wheels.

Remove smaller parts and accessories that can’t be secured, especially lights, pumps, and quick release saddles.

Stay safe on the roads, especially with the busy summer period coming.  Wear your helmet and be seen.
