Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 1.56am on Sunday 31 May in Gladstone Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a house was entered via the back door, lights turned on and a sofa was damaged. At 12.15pm on Wednesday 3 June, in Sorrel Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, two white males, mid 30’s, 5-10”/5-11”, medium build, one in a dark blue jumper, jeans type shorts, the second in a light blue coat and dark blue shorts, drilled the lock out on a patio door. No entry was gained. Burglary Other At 11.30am on Monday 1 June in Sorrel Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, two white males, around 30 years old, arrived in a van with ‘Buildrow’ on the side. They got out and drilled out the locks on the garage door. Nothing was stolen. Theft of motor vehicle Between 2.05pm and 2.15pm on Saturday 30 May in Thorneywood Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, an orange and white KTM 125 SMCR motorbike was stolen by two males who arrived on a black moped. Both white, early 20’s, one wearing grey shorts, the second wearing grey joggers. They left towards Skegby Road. Between 10.00pm on Monday 1 and 8.20am Tuesday 2 June in Southwell Lane, Kirkby in Ashfield, a grey Ford Focus Zetec was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft A report at 3.44pm on Friday 29 May in Urban Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, that a man had his bag stolen while in the reception area of the Ashfield District Council Offices. At 11.40pm on Friday 29 May in Spruce Grove, Kirkby in Ashfield, garden lights were stolen from a front garden by a white male, 5-01”, gaunt looking, very skinny, with dirty blonde hair in a ponytail Criminal Damage At 6.00am on Wednesday 3 June in Clumber Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, an air canister was thrown at the windscreen of a grey Land Rover Discovery Sport damaging the glass. ASB Overnight Saturday 30 to Sunday 31 May in Weavers Lane, Annesley, a report of fly tipping.
