Hi everyone,

As part of our ongoing work to keep our community safe, we’ll be proactively engaging with riders of e-bikes and e-scooters this Saturday.

Did you know that riding privately owned e-scooters, modified e-bikes, and similar vehicles on UK roads and pavements is illegal?

While these vehicles may appear low-risk, they are often used without insurance, proper safety equipment, or adequate experience. This can lead to serious harm for both riders and pedestrians.

High speeds, instability, and reduced visibility all contribute to increased risks in public spaces.

✅ Please help keep our roads and pavements safe by using legal and compliant transport options.
