CRIME update for May 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Park Estate Police beat area during the month of May. 

Burglaries residential = 0

Criminal damage = 1

19/05 Clumber Road East – Vehicle has been intentionally damaged by being scratched.

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

15/05 Albury Square – Vehicle reported stolen without keys.

Theft from vehicle = 5

13/05 Newcastle Drive – Wallet containing cash and bank cards stolen from within vehicle which was left insecure parked on the road outside a house.

15/05 Western Terrace – Driver side window smashed, wallet containing bank card stolen and attempts made to use victim's bank card to make purchase at off-license.

22/05 Newcastle Drive – Passenger side window smashed, untidy search of the vehicle, confectionery and cash stolen. 

23/05 Newcastle Drive – Driver side window smashed, nothing stolen as vehicle left empty.

23/05 Western Terrace – Vehicle broken into, ransacked and bag of clothing stolen.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
