Burglary alert |

Morning Everyone,
There have been a couple of linked residential burglaries, over the last few days, very close to the Whitton Ward.
In both cases the occupiers were away, which may suggest the suspect/s have been looking around the area, in a car or on foot.
Frustratingly, there has been no CCTV images of any possible suspects, but if you think you may have some information regarding these two crimes, please let me know.
I have included some details, a small map of the burglary locations and some burglary crime prevention advice below:-
The first - STRATHEARN AVENUE, WHITTON, TW2 – 01/ 02/06/2026 – between 1700hrs – 1800hrs, victims currently away - glass broken in the rear kitchen door and found open - untidy search upstairs drawers found open in the bedroom and jewellery found laid out on the bed but not taken - victims are still away so unsure as to what has been stolen
The Second - STRATHEARN AVENUE WHITTON, TW2 – 01/ 02/06/2026 - between 1700hrs – 1800hrs, victims currently away- entry via the rear door which had been smashed - untidy search of wardrobes - no property stolen.
Here are ten top tips for securing your homes and out-buildings
1. Don't leave your keys or ID documents within easy reach of doors, letterboxes, or windows. | ||
