Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |
||
|
29/05 - 03/06/2026 Hello everyone,
This is a message from your local Neighbourhood Team, St Michael’s Team 1 to keep you up to date with our activities this week.
Our Officers have been continuously working with various departments within West Midlands Police to keep the Coventry City Centre. The officers were conducting joint patrols with the WMP Mounted unit this week, focusing on the Lady Herbert's Gardens and Coventry Transport Museum. This has allowed us to issue Civil Interventions to target the problem behaviours within these locations.
St. Michael's officers, in their efforts to target Anti-social Behaviour have performed joint efforts with the Safer Travel in carrying out routine patrols within the Pool Meadow Bus Station. Thanks to these patrols, we have able to engage with and provide reassurance to our community including issuing civil interventions to protect the public from harm.
We are also patrolling the NCP Belgrade Plaza Car Park, since it went into administration, to prevent any troubling behaviour, and ensure safety of the patrons at the location.

Please note that due to the nature of our role as officers, sometimes situations occur that are beyond our control, therefore, if we are not at an advertised event, it is because we were called to an emergency that sometimes does not give us time to contact WM Now and such like to cancel an event.#
It’s time to get summer-ready and secure your home, vehicles, and valuables – double checking your windows and doors are locked is key. Never leave your car unattended, running with the AC on, and valuables on show.
Over the summer, you will see more officers out in our towns and cities, but there are also ways you can help keep your community safe.
Your CCTV helps us solve real crimes. We are urging local businesses, residents, and community groups to sign up to our CCTV registry online: CCTV Registry | West Midlands Police. It only takes five minutes and can help us bring more opportunistic burglars and thieves to justice.
