CRIME update for May 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Lenton Triangle Police beat area during the month of May. 

Burglaries residential = 2

07/05 Lenton Boulevard – Flat broken into stealing items from within. 

10/05 Cottesmore Road – Laptop taken from kitchen. 

Criminal Damage = 2

02/05 Stansfield Street – Suspects wearing balaclavas targeting property with bricks smashing window to front door and kitchen window, incident captured on CCTV. 

06/05 Douglas Road – Vehicle windows smashed. 

Theft of motor vehicle = 1

17/05 Balfour Road – Vehicle stolen whilst owner was away.

Theft from vehicle = 6

07/05 Albert Grove – Vehicle door found unlocked and jacket reported missing. 

05/05 Douglas Road – Vehicle entered, items taken from within.

Between 05/5 and 06/05 Ashburnham Avenue – Passenger window smashed, prescription drugs and cash stolen from glovebox. 

06/05 Douglas Road – Vehicle windows smashed, items taken from within.

06/05 Cottesmore Road – Between 7:15am and 8pm hours, sunglasses reported stolen from storage compartment. 

27/05 Derby Road – Vehicle windows smashed. 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
