Witness appeal following serious collision in Leatherhead

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Leatherhead on 24 May.

Officers were called to Headley Road, between the Leatherhead Bypass and Lee Green Lane, shortly before 7:30am on Sunday, 24 May, following a report of a collision involving a grey Peugeot 2008 and a white Mercedes box van.

The driver of the Peugeot, an 18-year-old man from London, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have seen either vehicle travelling in the area prior to the incident.

We are also seeking any CCTV, dashcam, helmet cam or doorbell footage that may have captured all or part of the collision.
