We have received further information that there have been suspicious males driving around the area, potentially looking at properties and asking local children “who has money?” If you notice anything suspicious like this, contact us on 101 and, please take this moment to speak to your children and ask them if they have been approached by strangers asking these questions.
Please always be vigilant and make sure all your windows and doors are always locked and secured and if you have any valuable items, keep them locked and out of sight and if possible don't keep them in garages or sheds. Also, do not forget to lock your car doors as most criminals are opportunists.
