Serious injury collision near Launceston

We are investigating a serious road traffic collision on the A388 near Launceston at the weekend and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Officers were called at around 2.40pm on Saturday 30 May to a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A388 near Dutson, Launceston.

It involved two Yamaha motorbikes, one grey and the other black, and a red Ford Fiesta.

South West Ambulance Service, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and Devon and Cornwall Police attended the incident.

One rider, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank members of the public for their patience while the A388 between Dutson and St-Giles-on-the-Heath was closed and police examined the scene.
