Incidents of theft in the area

In the last 24hrs we are aware of two thefts in the area. One was theft of a Quad bike from a locked shed/garage and the other was theft from a motor vehicle. 

In order to prevent theft from vehicles, advice would be to ensure the vehicles is locked at all times and that there are no items on view inside the vehicle such as bags, sunglasses, money, wallet/purse etc. 

In terms of high value items in garages / sheds etc, your local neighborhood team can provide smart water packs to tag your items with which can help return items to their owners should they be found and forensically help with investigations.  If you would like a smart water pack, please get in touch with anyone from your neighborhood team or you can send a message to use via this platform on Neighborhood matters.
