Dear Residents, Your De Beauvoir Safer Neighbourhood Team continues to take proactive action to address crime and anti-social behaviour in the area. Yesterday, officers dealt with a frequent shoplifter, who was issued a Community Resolution as a proportionate outcome. The same individual was also arrested for failing to appear at court x 3, ensuring they are brought back into the justice process. In a separate incident on the De Beauvoir Estate, another male was arrested for traffic and immigration offences following police engagement. Additionally, officers responded to reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Balmes Road, where a male was identified and issued with a formal warning regarding his behaviour. We will continue to monitor the situation and take further action where necessary.
