Community engagement to begin after land secured for new Southern Policing Hub

Plans for a new Southern Policing Hub in Old Sarum are progressing, with community engagement events set to take place this June.

Land was secured for the proposed development in December — a key milestone in delivering a modern policing base for south Wiltshire.

Residents are now being invited to attend engagement events to view early site plans, explore initial ideas, and share feedback ahead of an outline planning application later this summer.

The new hub is intended to replace Bourne Hill with a modern, fit-for-purpose facility, helping officers work more efficiently while maintaining a strong, visible presence in local communities.
