This week is about bringing neighbours together, helping people feel connected, and showing that Neighbourhood Watch is for everyone.

Simple ways to get involved today:

👋 Say hello or introduce yourself to someone nearby

☕ Have a short cuppa or chat with a neighbour

🏡 Put up a Neighbourhood Watch window sticker or poster

💬 Start (or revive) a street or block WhatsApp group

A few Ideas:

1. 👋 “Say Hello” Campaign - Encourage neighbours to greet each other—small but powerful.

Posters, social media posts, or simple reminders

Can be done by anyone, no setup needed

2. 💬 Street WhatsApp or Facebook Groups - Create a simple group for each street or block.

Helps people stay connected, share updates, and offer help

Quick to set up and easy for residents to join

3. ☕ Pop‑Up Tea & Coffee Meet‑Ups - A very low‑effort way to bring people together.

Just a table, flasks, or even “bring your own cuppa”

Can be held outside homes, parks, or community spots

You don’t need to do anything big — small conversations build strong communities.
