Update -Rosehill Contact Session

Yesterday (Sunday ) your local policing team had a very good response to our contact session, which was held at Rosehill.

Thank you to all who came and spoke with us, residents, staff, bus drivers and businesses. 
 

From a policing perspective, a busy area deters criminal activity and Anti-Social behaviour (ASB). 

Your local ward councillors were also present and together, some interesting initiatives were discussed with the aim to reduce the shoplifting issues at Co-Op and ASB at the location.

The whole area could benefit from a good tidy up. Your PCSO has submitted a report to Fix My Street to implement weed control, repair to barrier and general clean of debris/weeds.  Reference 9538274

Although we advertise a time frame of 30 mins, officers do attend for however long it takes to speak with everyone and address any issues raised. Previously we have booked sessions for an hour or more, which is not resourceful when no one is able to attend.
