Speeding Operations

Following concerns raised from members of the Barnby Dun community we have undertaken a further speeding operation in area's of high concern.

On Thursday, we were were on Pine Hall Road, at the time of our operation only 10 vehicles were monitored but 2 driver's were dealt with for contravening the 20mph speed limit. 

On Top Road, 42 vehicles were monitored with 1 driver dealt with for contravening the 30mph limit.

When driving, a few miles per hour can mean the difference between life and death. The faster someone drives, the less time they have to stop if something unexpected happens.

These speeding operations will continue, and we will continue to publish the results.
