Evening All,

Over the last couple of weeks it has been brought to our attention that GPS dome and system theft is starting up again in the county. Our neighbouring forces in Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire have been hit harder than ourselves, but we know from past experience that the offenders are willing to travel all over the Country.

Should you see any suspicious vehicles whilst out and about day and night, please capture the registration numbers and let us know. We can then complete checks and see if they need stopping. A what3words of the exact location of the vehicle would also assist us as offenders have been caught on CCTV at one of the theft locations crossing 2-3 fields on foot.

We appreciate the complex way these Domes and Screens are installed on the machines and after a long day, its not always practical to remove them.

Please do as much as you can to make these identifiable.

Overtly mark them with your postcode and or Farm Name. Photograph the serial number stickers on all equipment to assist should they be taken.

Fit additional locks which are designed for the Starfire series.

If possible, park inside a secure building to prevent easy access to the systems when on machines.

we would advise CCTV systems and yard alarms to highlight movement directly to you. You can then call us from the safety of your Farm house or Home rather than put yourself at risk checking the yards on foot.
