As the warmer days and heatwaves approach us. Please just be reminded about your furry friends in these conditions. 

In particular, walking dogs at the hottest point of the day, and NEVER to leave pets in cars in the heatwave.

As temperatures rise, it’s vital to remember just how dangerous a parked car can be for your pet.

Even on a mild day, the temperature inside a vehicle can soar within minutes. On warmer days or during a heatwave, it rapidly becomes life-threatening.

🌡️ The danger is real Dogs (and other pets) don’t sweat like humans. They rely on panting to cool down, which is far less effective in a hot, enclosed space.

In a parked car:

🐶 No errand is worth the risk It might feel harmless to “just pop into a shop,” but even a few minutes is enough for serious harm to occur.
