Appeal after dog bite incident in Woodbridge

Police are appealing for information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Woodbridge.

The incident took place at approximately 10:40am on Sunday 17 May on the footpath of Jetty Lane, Woodbridge, beside the Kingston playing field tennis courts.

A woman reported that her two dogs were attacked by a beige, terrier-type dog, possibly a Border Terrier. Whilst attempting to intervene the woman was also bitten on the hand which required hospital treatment.

The owner of the terrier dog is described as a white woman, in her 70s, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, slim build with shoulder length blonde/grey hair.
