Drink drive, arrested! - 27/5/26

After flipping her vehicle in the Kenfig Hill area, a driver has since been arrested and charger with drink driving.

Officers responded to a collision whereby a vehicle had crashed in the Kenfig Hill area. On speaking with the driver and on her carrying out a roadside breath test, she subsequently failed it, blowing 83/35 at the kerb. On carrying out the station procedure, she refused to provide, which has resulted in her being charged. She will face a day in court where it is highly likely she will lose her licence, face a ban from driving, as well as incurring costs and points. This will also impact any potential employment, commuting, childcare and day to day business.

With so many taxi, UBER and private hire vehicle services available, is it really worth getting behind the wheel after drinking alcohol?!
