Residential burglaries

🚨 Community Safety Alert 🚨

On 27th May 2026, two residential burglaries occurred locally. In both incidents, suspects gained entry through open ground floor windows.

With the current hot weather, we understand many residents are leaving windows open to stay cool. However, please take a moment to ensure your home remains secure:

✅ Avoid leaving ground floor windows open when you are out or asleep
✅ Use window locks or restrictors where possible
✅ Consider leaving lights or a radio on when out to give the impression someone is home
✅ Report any suspicious activity to police
