City of Manchester - District awards

Officers from the City Centre Strategic team attended the City of Manchester POP awards cermony last week. 

They were nominated for the Problem Solving Award for their dedicated proactive policing of the Night Time Economy in the City Centre to prevent serious and acquisitive crime, with a specific focus on preventing violence towards Women and Girls and identifying vulnerability.

The team won the award and look forward to continuing with this work in the future!

In attendance for the award was Superintendant Williams, Chief Inspector Tachauer, Inspector Ferguson, Sergeant Worthington and Police Community Support Officer Crombleholme.
