Live Facial Recognition operation in Bromley Town Centre

On Wednesday 20th May 2026, officers from Darwin SNT were in Bromley Town Centre conducting a Live Facial Recognition operation.

This activity formed part of our ongoing efforts to prevent and detect crime, identify wanted individuals, and enhance public safety. Officers were also on hand to engage with members of the public and provide reassurance.

Over the coming weeks, officers from Darwin SNT & Biggin Hill SNT will be deployed on an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) bus across the Bromley borough.

This initiative aims to provide a visible policing presence, engage with the community, and help reduce anti-social behaviour. Officers will be working proactively in key locations to offer reassurance and address local concerns.
