Multi Agency Vehicle Op Yeadon Way |

Good Afternoon,
Today, 26th of May 2026, officers including NHP and Blackpool South Taskforce have conducted the latest vehicle Op on Yeadon way Blackpool.
In attendance for this operation were: Enveco The objective of the operation is to identify and remove untaxed, uninsured, or otherwise non-compliant vehicles from the public highway, particularly those causing obstruction or nuisance.
The operation will also focus on:
Inspection of licensed passenger vehicles (e.g., taxis, Ubers) I would just like to share with you the work carried out for the day.
In Total 148 Vehicles have been checked including 45 Taxis.
9x Drivers not wearing a seat belt and fined. 6x Drivers with no waste carriers license 3x Vehicles with no M.O.T and fined. 2x Vehicles seized under S.165 of the road traffic act for no insurance 6pts and Fined. 1X HORT1 given to a taxi driver for no MOT ( Driver has to produce MOT Certificate within 7 days) 2x No tax and reported to the DVLA 1x Driver operating a vehicle whilst a provisional license holder and reported for summons to court. The driver was also already disqualified in the past. 1x Revoked License 1x Community resolution given to a passenger of a vehicle for smoking cannabis.
We are committed to making our roads safer and we will continue these operations into the summer.
