E-Scooter Seized

PC Payne attached to Hylands & Harrow Lodge SNT, worked with Emerson Park SNT today.

Whilst on mobile patrol on Hylands & Harrow Lodge ward, PC Payne seized an E-Scooter from an adult male, after the owner had been advised they are illegal and to walk the E-Scooter home. The male was seen within 5 minutes, riding the E-Scooter further up Hornchurch Road. The E-Scooter was therefore seized and the male was told again, that he had been warned and now has lost the E-Scooter, as they are illegal. You cannot be insured to ride a personal E-Scooter.
