Weekly round update from LOZELLS & EAST HANDSWORTH NHT; Our neighbourhood team attended a Residents Ward & Community Residents Association (LWCRA) meeting on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at 2 Graham Street, Lozells, Birmingham, B19 1QY.

Our team interacted with local residents of LOZELLS to listen to their concerns and inquiries following concerns were discussed at length;

Discussed strategies for reporting and enforcement to keep Lozells clean.

*Housing Standards: SEAs and HMOs*
Addressed concerns regarding Multiple Occupation Housing and protecting the neighbourhood’s residential character.

*Establishing Neighbourhood Watch Areas*
Coordinating resident-led safety initiatives and communication networks.

*Securing Our Community Spaces*
Protecting vital hubs like the Lighthouse and LRG for future generations.
