This week I have been out and about walking around Brintons Park on the evenings and wooded areas on our patch. I have been attended Brintons park on a few occasions about motorbikes and e-bikes. I am aware that it is that time of the year with the weather getting nicer people are out on these bikes causing issues. Me and the team are out and about and doing what we can! Also working with the other teams all around Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley. The walks around the park on the evenings I got to speak to some people and check out how the new pond and café are coming along. It all looks very nice and I’m interested to see the final outcome. I walked around some wooded areas, it’s a nice reminder of how pretty some patches are and just a few steps away. Its important to me that these areas stay pretty and safe for everyone. We don’t get many issues around these areas, which is great, but report any issues that you do see.
I have been involved in a Multi Agency Meeting this week around ASB and safe guarding. It is brilliant when agencies come together to tackle problems. It’s this teamwork that is important to making real differences and stopping issues.
I have also assisted with two Evictions, One Kidderminster and one in Stourport. The Police role in these situations is to support the housing authority or landlord and prevent a breach of the peace. Both evictions ended safely but did have some issues along the way.
The knife bin has been here at the Fire Station from 1600-1700 today (22/05/2026) for an amnesty of any old knives you may have. It will also be available Saturday (23/05/2026) between the times 09:00 -10:00 hours and 16:00 – 17:00 hours. If you still want to hand in some old knives outside of these times then please go to Kidderminster police station.
Know your knives!
Would you know if a kitchen knife went missing? Do you use all your knives? If the answer is no to these then dispose of some in a safe way. Ether The Fire Station at the times stated or Kidderminster Station front counter.
Previous knives and firearms have been used by different forces and people to make art such as:
