Aston Neighbourhood Police Team

Aston Neighbourhood Police Team have been busy during this week on shift(s). 

The Team have had arrests and have been involved  in Operation Sceptre - where we  have visited local secondary schools / academies and have  screened pupils for weapons and our school intervention and prevention officers have raised awareness about the actions and consequences of carrying knives and bladed articles. 

The PCSOs have been busy working in conjunction with the Birmingham Community Safety Partnerships Team tackling Fly-Tipping and Anti Social Behaviour. We have also been linking in with our partner agencies: DVLA, NSL, Trading Standards, and others.  

One final message - make sure your properties, businesses and homes are secure and if you have alarms use them and keep them regularly maintained.  During this spell of Hot Weather ensure you close and secure all doors and windows, before you go to bed, and secure all garden tools and ladders. Don't leave valuables on display in vehicles.
