Local Priorities Wildlife crime issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Wildlife crime issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Over recent months a disused and abandoned boat has been observed along the river Medway, collecting debris, rubbisv and attracting unwanted attention from persons who may have come to harm trying to get onto it.
Alongside the Environment Agency, the Town centre Police team took action and filed reports which allowed the boat to be seized and removed, making the river safer for people and wildlife.
