Ward Sergeant's Update |
||
|
This week has been somewhat unusual for the team, with five officers attending compulsory training. The training undertaken has been specifically designed for Safer Neighbourhood officers, with a focus on enhancing their ability to respond effectively to local needs. All Safer Neighbourhood officers will be completing this training as part of their continued professional development.
This has meant that PC Thompson and I have been covering both Belsize and Gospel Oak Wards. We’ve put in the patrolling miles throughout the week, while also responding to requests for assistance and progressing ongoing investigation work on behalf of the team.
Here’s what your Safer Neighbourhood Teams have been up to this week.
A total of 20 live investigations, which include ASB, harassment, public order, assault and drug-related offences are currently under investigation.
The team will be back next week, ready to put their newly acquired skills into practice.
As for me, I am taking some much-needed annual leave, so the next ‘Ward Sergeant’s Update’ will be shared in a couple of weeks’ time.
I hope you have a great couple of weeks, have fun, enjoy the sun and please stay safe.
All the best
