Knife Crime Awareness Week

Good Evening,

This week is knife crime awareness week. As part of this, officers have conducted a variety of tasks/engagements/educational sessions in the Cynon Valley

We have conducted Joint High visibility patrols with RCT Community Wardens around Hirwaun, further patrols and a knife sweep was also conducted during this time in the fields near Penderyn Road after concerns of drug dealing in the area.

No knives were seen or seized in this operation.
