We are appealing for information following a collision in Cannock.
We were called at 6.10pm yesterday (Wednesday 20 May) to New Penkridge Road following reports of a collision.
A motorbike and a car were involved.
Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance.
We closed the road while emergency services attended the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The driver of the car did not report any injuries.
Officers assisted in recovery of the motorbike.
The road re-opened shortly after 7.30pm.
Our inquiries are continuing.
