Drug Dealing Arrests & Stop & Searches in Victoria and Pimlico today

Good afternoon all,

Your ward officers have had a very successful day of action tackling drug dealing across Pimlico & Victoria today. The day started with stop & searches of two males and two females suspected of being in possession of drugs on Ambrosden Avenue/Howick Place. One of the females was in possession of suspected Class A drugs; she was processed for this offence and will be prosecuted at a later date. 

The day continued with officers' attention drawn to a male acting suspiciously around Victoria Station, providing officers with grounds to search him under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act on Eccleston Bridge. A quantity of suspected Class A drugs were found on his person, along with several phones and a large amount of cash. He also admitted to officers that he had further quantities of drugs concealed on his person. 

He was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to supply Class A, and remains in police custody at time of writing. Your ward team will now be working through the evening to progress the investigation; we will keep you updated with the outcome.
