Op Sceptre - Knife Crime

Good Afternoon,

This week officers from Sevenoaks' Child Centred & Beat teams held an engagement stand at Sevenoaks Railway Station with colleagues from British Transport Police, and South Eastern Rail. This was focused on Knife Crime as part of our ‘Op Sceptre’ awareness and action week. Being early in the morning this was a great opportunity to provide advice & reassurance to commuters, aswell as young people on their way to school.

‘Fearless’ is one thing we regularly promote to under 18's at things like this - It enables young people to pass on information about crime 100% anonymously without fear of repercussions.
