Police operation in Normacot, 15/06/2026.

Hi All, 

On 15/05/2026, Staffordshire police officers attended Normacot area and  conducted a police operation and patrol by checking vehicles are parking correctly on the road and are not blocking junctions exits or full blockage of the pavement preventing pedestrians from using them. Due to issues in the area, where drivers, are not parking on the road correctly and blocking junctions making it hard for vehicles to exit and enter the junctions. As well as, fully blocking pavements forcing pedestrians onto the road. 

During the police operation 11 tickets were given out for unnecessary obstructions and 4 tickets were given out for either drivers or passengers not wearing seatbelts.
