Pimlico North – Day of Action Report

On 20/05/2026, officers in Pimlico North conducted a Day of Action in partnership with Halifax at Walton Road.

The event focused on engaging with members of the public and Halifax customers to promote safer online banking practices and increase awareness of fraud and scam prevention.

During the engagement:

Crime prevention advice was provided to customers.

Officers highlighted common online banking scams and how to avoid them.

Members of the public were issued with informational leaflets titled “How to Stay Safe Online and Avoid Scams”.

The initiative aimed to improve community awareness, reduce vulnerability to financial fraud, and strengthen trust between the public, police, and local banking partners.
