Off-road bike stopped and seized in Lincoln |

A 16-year-old has been reported after being stopped by our Roads Policing team while riding an off-road bike on Lincoln’s roads without: A younger passenger was also on the bike — and was not wearing a helmet. The bike was first seen on Outer Circle Drive and was stopped on Browning Drive just before 6.40pm on 18 May. A reminder on safety The dangers of riding without proper training, licences, or protective gear cannot be overstated. There is a time and place for off-road bikes. Many responsible riders use them safely as part of clubs, with the right experience and protective equipment. Growing concern The anti-social use of motorbikes — including off-road bikes and illegally used e-bikes (such as Suren-style bikes) — is a real and ongoing concern for our communities.
