OP sceptre- Knife crime

Good morning all, 

This week your local neighbourhood officers will be participating  in a week of action OP SCEPTRE: patrols in the whole of Rochdale borough, this is to raise awareness of the dangers of knife crime and to reduce the numbers of those that are carrying such things on them this can be adaptative, made or intend. 

If yourself, or  you know anybody that is suspected to be carrying a knife you can advise them on throwing the bladed article in the amnesty bins which are located outside our Police station at Rochdale, or another station nearby your location. 

Further to this patrols will be more visible in the borough of Rochdale today, 20th May 2026 feel free to come and have chat with if you have any concerns or would like any prevention advice.
