Op Sceptre - Day 2!

Good Evening All,

Today was day 2 of our participation in Op Sceptre, the national knife crime intensification week.

Today's activities began with a visit to a local knife retailer in Netherton, to ensure all relevant legal safeguarding measures were being implemented. Happily, they are doing an excellent job of securing their knives and making use of the ‘Challenge 25’ guidance!

We then conducted a Weapons Sweep of Netherton Park - again, happy to say nothing of any concerning nature was found.

Throughout our shift, we have also conducted targeted patrols of our ‘hotspot’ areas to ensure there was no ongoing issues.

This is all activity we do on a regular basis, however as part of our Sceptre work we thought it sensible to make you all aware of our daily hard work!
