Knife bins We understand that handing a knife directly to the police can be a daunting task to many people for fear of repercussions or questions.To help reduce the number of knives and weapons on the street, knife amnesty bins have been placed around the county to allow the public to dispose of any knives safely and anonymously – no questions asked. The orange knife bins are in permanent locations across Northamptonshire and is a much safer and securer way of disposing of knives than a normal bin.
