Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted Cuppa with Coppa events and completing vehicle checks. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. We have completed Cuppa With Coppa events this week at The Hope Centre. It was great engaging with members of the community. Everyone is welcome to these events, grab a hot or cold drink and chat to your local officers. This week we have been conducting vehicle checks in your local neighbourhood. We have seized several vehicles in your area ranging from cloned plates to no insurance. We conducted a PACT meeting this week. We discussed the good work we have conducted in the last month, the issues we have been tackling, stats and any ongoing issues. It was great to see new residents turning up to the meeting. This is a great way to share your issues and concerns with the police and housing.
ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 3 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: Officers have been out completing patrols in hotspot locations and conducting stop and searches. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields. Street Watch Team is a community patrol initiative that helps you make a difference where you live. Street watch gives you and your community an opportunity to keep your area safe.
