Operation Sceptre – Proactive Activity Update

As part of Operation Sceptre Week, commencing Monday 18 May, Myself PCSO KHEDR have continued proactive activity aimed at tackling knife crime and serious violence across our communities.

Knife crime and serious violence remain a core priority for the Met and are addressed through sustained activity throughout the year. Operation Sceptre provides a nationally coordinated opportunity to align and highlight this ongoing work, reinforcing the clear message that knife carrying will not be tolerated.

During recent activity, myself and PCSO KHEDR have conducted searches of hotspot locations, secluded areas, and abandoned structures linked to anti-social behaviour and criminality. These operations were carried out to identify concealed weapons, disrupt offending, and provide reassurance to local residents.
