Good Morning,
Officers from your local neighbourhood team yesterday spent time in Blackfriars Park as part of Op Sceptre, which is the national policing operation around knife crime which involves proactively tackling offenders who choose to carry knives, as well as attempted to clear the street of knives via knife sweeps and amnesty operations.
PC 17705 Fenwick & PC 19105 Badom searched across Blackfriars Park looking for any knives that have been disposed off inappropriately by their owners and thankfully none were found. If you do come across any knives please get in touch with us or if happy to do so bring them in to any Police Station.
