Dear Residents, 

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at the below locations on Tuesday 19th of May as part of Operation Sceptre to raise awareness of knife crime's.

Oakdale Square - 16:30-17:15

Gladstone Street car park Crosskeys 19:00-19:45

Risca Police Station 20:00-20:45.

“Save a life bin a knife”.

A mobile amnesty bin will be available for people to deposit dangerous knives and blades safely and securely.

People looking to deposit dangerous knives at these bins are asked to store them securely while transporting them and then package the blade prior to placing them in the bins so they can be removed safely.

 You can also take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.
