Knife Crime Week

Sceptre, a national campaign to reduce the impact of knife crime, launches today across the county.

Over the course of the next week officers will be making an extra focus on the serious harm knife crime can have in our communities. They will be visiting schools to talk to our young people about the dangers, visiting shops to conduct test purchases and educate retailers on the relevant law and regulations and there will be several opportunities for Cheshire residents to safely dispose of any knives or similar in designated points across the county.
