On the 15th of May, South Wales Police saw the re-launch of the successful Gower Rugby Challenge Cup at Dunvant Rugby Club. This was organised by PCSOs Chris Dix and Andy Brown, of Gower Neighbourhood Policing Team, with the support of The Ospreys in the Community.
16 primary schools were invited along to take part and enjoy the tournament. A superb, sunny day was had by all, the children played with good sportsmanship, showing respect for opponents, team mates and officials.

The trophies were presented by Chief Superintendent Steve Jones, Police Crime Commissioner Emma Wools and Inspector Simon Trick.
Our aim is to bring the community closer together through sport, which helps break down barriers and build positive relationships.
Events like this are only possible with the help of our community and business partners, so thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible. We look forward to future events.
